It's the prettiest chain pull I've ever seen. I've used a syringe to remove extra paint but like you I had trouble with it. So I bought a stainless steel syringe baster/injector. It's actually used to baste or inject meat. I cut the sharp tips off the needles and it works great. It was only 13.00 US dollars and a great tool for anyone doing many chain pulls.
