Incurus’s teammates must’ve really hated him. The bottom guy kept shooting him with a mortar, and the top guy purposely blew up his own repair bay just to break Incurus’s ropes. The other team did less damage than his team ever could. Honestly, if Incurus killed one of his teammates on purpose, I don’t think anyone would care

As for the middle-core of the battleship map - that is EXACTLY why you NEVER place batteries near the top or sides (exposed points of contact)... splash damage takes out battery, and causes a chain reaction... boom, boom, boom.

I don't think i've seen anyone catch the core specifically, but it is definitely possible to catch parts of your base as they fall.

Sniping a teammate's core is an act of escalation. First offenders get a warning, second offenders get their offensive taken out. You don't shoot your TM's core without them escalating to that level (or going AFK for >1 minute? IDK what the accepted "time of death" is on Forts, tho).

I figured out another cheese to do 100% tubins anywhere. You have to use ropes and make it swing witch make it get more airflow.

I wish that there were a mod that made double bracing easier. Like, hold a hotkey and click on the bracing so you don't have to meticulously go and brace everything yourself. I guess it would take away from the APM needed to make a stable fort, but I honestly think the benefits of such a thing would outweigh the negatives.
