Hello. I completed a metal project using simple tools and materials. In this project I used bike chain, sprockets, shafts and box metal profile. Pedals cannot be reversed in Go-Kart vehicles. Maybe put a way to make sure the 6mm rod stays centered and doesn't work its way out in one direction or the other, leave it a bit long and grooves and snap ring or drill a hole to tap but not tight, etc. Looks like a sturdy gearbox and very nice video.

Wow this is a very informative tutorial👍 ive been looking for ways on how to reverse the rotation of a tank track and this gives me the right solution! Maybe if i can make two of those gears on the reverse direction then i can control both tank track to rotate independently on oposing directions..!👍👍👍 thank you very much Sir - respect from Ph

Wouldn't actuators that go to each unit for each output work fine? So use to of these gearboxes but have them side by side so the shift rods are able to shift either together or independent, could use cables to move the fwd/rvs lever or either electric or hydraulic methods, im thinking. Sounds funnn-good luck. I had a mini 4wheel skid loader which was hydraulic tank steering and it was super easy to control, i guess most newer excavators are but without hydraulics it's a lot more simple, when it can be done, like for aileron control initially it was all cables or ropes even maybe early on.

I’d strongly warn folks not to weld galvanized material without a fan, and it looks to me like you have inhaled a lot.
