Fun fact: Synyster Gates has gone on record to say that this is one of the most difficult solos he's ever written (which is probably why they don't play it live anymore)

Yeah but the thing is, it's really straight forward, the problem is the speed. M.I.A is difficult because yes it's speedy but it's not as straight forward as scream, it's alot more complex.

There's no shortcut for you to take on the string changes and the speed makes it hard af to roll your wrist the way you need to to get over the strings and still play everything evenly. Most solos you can get away with being 90-95% accurate, but with this one you have to be perfect. Edit: Didn't watch before commenting. The tab on this is different than the way syn plays it, so there were shortcuts for chainbrain to use. If you watch the lbc and making of videos, Syn wrote it with only one string change and it was only alternate picking.
