this whole album has a vibe of putting alice cooper, abba and bon Jovi in a blender and somehow creating a masterpiece... which i cant complain about at all

I get the vibe that this is what would have come out in '91 or '92 had Grunge not happened. It has a TON of 80's all over the place, in a good way, but is way advanced than the hair metal bands that were destroyed by Grunge and Beavis and Butt-Head. If Grunge had not happened and Hair Metal had had a chance to 'mature' this album would have happened way back then. Plus Tipper Gore would have had a coronary! But I'm glad we got Grunge and now we have GHOST.

this is a great song for sure, but, after many listens, i think Respite On The Spitalfields is my favourite on this album. the whole album is amazing, though

I go back and forth between this and Griftwood as my favorite. This blends everything about the soft Ghost songs I like into one thing

Can never give enough shoutouts to Fred from Opeth for this guitar work.

I have to say, this song has really REALLY grown on me and I can't get enough of it! What a truly amazing piece of music! I have listened to this entire album at least 12 times now, all the way through, and I must say, this is one epic musical journey! I am a jazz/fusion lover, and I think it's the greatest form of music, but this album proves that there is talent where you find it, and Ghost has talent spilling over! Fantastic band! One of my all-time favorites! When you have Ghost, you have everything!

I'm actually struggling to pick out a favourite track on this album, it's pretty solid all the way through. Unlike Prequelle where some tracks stood out for me (Miasma was a masterpiece). Going to have to give this song a go on guitar though!

This and Prequelle are two albums I always just listen to in full when I listen.

New to your channel and been wondering how can you play those first time songs you encounter especially when there's a lot of overlapping notes that usually I needed to convert them to tabs in order to understand the phrases and arpeggios. Is there any tips and tricks to sight read those notes?
@Chainbrain2 жыл бұрын
Hi hi welcome! So it all comes down to time spent in the game and pattern recognition and being able to convert that to the fretboard. Rocksmith isn't the same as tab and it allows for a more comprehensive layout visually. Basically just play a lot and get used to it more and more. I have over 3000 hours in game!
@killerkite3332 жыл бұрын
@@Chainbrain Thank you. Wow didn't expect you to reply so fast. Wow 3000 hours in game? I need to grind more. How often do you use riff repeater? Been playing guitar for a decade and ever since I started using rocksmith, I seldom retain the songs I played there compared when I'm using tabs to learn. It feels like I'm just jamming. Do you retain songs you learn on rocksmith? Do you have song(chart) / cdlc recommendation to me to practice? Sorry for the barrage of questions.
@drkarate12 жыл бұрын
@@killerkite333 dude I’m in the same boat. When I want to retain. I look away from Rocksmith a little each time I play the parts. That seems to help me remember .
