Lyrics are based on the Aleister Crowley quote "The Beast 666' only means 'sunlight.' You can call me 'Little Sunshine.". So just more Satan references from Tobias here. Killer song. Killer chart. Killer playthrough. Well done to all involved. lol

It's also in reference to the Latin translation of Lucifer, which is "little star". I never thought Ghost would teach me something, but I also never thought I'd be grooving to a song about Satan so there's a 1st for everything.

I love the new song. This release I prefer more than Hunter’s Moon. But both are great. And you’re right, there’s this level of grunge to it in the chorus, the hook in it is just so good. I am so excited for the new album! Amorphis in February and then Ghost in March. Perfection!

now that you said it, I can definitely feel the Grunge vibes from it. seems the band feels that way too, the Ghouls have updated attire and it's very 90s Grunge / steampunk goth type stuff. it's pretty neat.

This honestly is the only song I like off the new album. The rest of it I just can't personally get behind. Last album I liked but just isn't what I liked about them. My all time favorite album is infestissumam. Now I respect others for liking the new sound but just isn't for me

Hot take, but I could never get into pre-tobias Ghost. To me, their old stuff always sounded like a less groovy Blue Oyster Cult. Their new stuff sounds like old ozzys "shot in the dark", which I find way easier to get into. Kudos to fans of the original BC sound, because they deserve to wear the old merch (which is phenomenal btw) for being able to get into it 1st listen. Now front man wise, 1st Papa is best Papa. Like the other 2, but OG papa is a savage.

@@Chainbrain I like the older sound of Ghost, Opus Eponymous for instance. The newer stuff is very radio friendly(which is the goal, yes) but I am not a fan of it. They are almost dance music.

This is about as pop as the Black Album lol If anything I wish they kept the poppier sound of Prequelle, hearing Tobias go back to the older sound is a little jarring to me. The riffs are great, but the vocals just aren’t matching to me right now. Maybe it’ll be different in the context of the album.

@@G9_Studios Ok, they are poppier than their debut, but calling them dance music is a stretch and a half. Have you ever heard any EDM act that sounds anything like this? If so, point me towards them, as it would be cool as heck.

@@MARZ2121 Many people refer to them as Black Sabbath mixed with Abba. Abba is disco/dance music...are they not? I will concede on the dance music but they are still too poppish in sound for me.
