Can’t wait to hear the second part. It’s one of my favorite music pieces and surely the best of DsO

Fantastic again. I was excited when you said you were planning this! There is so much passion in this piece and I think you’ve captured it really well.

Do you think there’s ever the possibility of something off FAS? Even the intro to Shrine.. seems damn near impossible to decipher.
@candleg0at Жыл бұрын
@@richardmason9832 you know I've been listening to FAS over and over and I have come to the conclusion that the reason it sounds so odd is because Hasjarl is using other tuning, one I cannot decipher yet. There are passages that sound Standard D as usual but there are others where the melody is so unbelievably sick and twisted, there is no other solution in my mind but a weird tuning (and a brutal execution of rythm)

@@candleg0at you think so? That’s really interesting. Have you tried parts of it then? The shear tempo of that album is beyond ridiculous. I’d need to work on picking for a good 6 months to keep up I’m sure. I cannot quite work out why the rhythm parts are so unique. Hasjarl did say that they are musically similar to Paracletus but without the single note picking, but to me it’s just a world unto itself as an album. The lead lines are probably TT, but for me that’s not even the weird bit about that album.

@@richardmason9832 yes, and that's why you don't even see tabs from that album , let alone a full song

@@candleg0at I’m really interested by this idea. It hadn’t really occurred to me, but I also haven’t tried to play anything off it. They haven’t alluded to it as it’s supposed to be a Les Paul, JCM and D standard, but you could definitely be right. Is it just impossible to make sense of in D standard?

Another great cover. Not my favourite song of DSO. But dam the first 3:4 minutes are godly.

Good cover. Great tone in the interlude. Reminds me of pink floyd - echoes. Have you listened to the long defeat? I thought it was terrible
