all wild animals are not set out to hurt people. most of the time it is due to them being defensive. and it is nearly always the persons fault (even if accidental) i am 18 and have been stung once in my life by a wasp. this was my fault because i didnt see it and it landed on my jacket and at firts i thought it was just the jacket that had done something untill the wasp fell out. i have eaten food right along side 2 wasps before and been fine. they just wanted some chicken off the bbq too. as for sharks, yes they can kill. but people kill more sharks (or worse, defin then throw them back in the water to die a slow and painful death) compaired to how many sharks attack people. people can even feed sharks safely while being underwater with them, without a cage and the sharks don't bother the people as people aren't shark food.

False: there is an extremely low count like 1/1000 for unprovoked shark attacks. Most are either A. A surfer looking like a seal or turtle on the surface. Or B. Someone doing something around sharks or over baiting the water causing the shark to become frenzied. Sharks leave us alone if we give them their space. I go scuba diving all the time and have dived with sharks, never even had one act remotely aggressive. Same with bees.

You're wrong and you shouldn't be allowed to be diving if you don't know anything about sharks. You don't seem to have a clue what actually qualifies as a provoked attack. Sharks mistaking humans for seals or whatever is not a provoked attack. Howis being in the vicinity of something you aren't aware provocation? Perhaps you for some reason do not know how many different kinds of sharks there are and how their behavior varies but you should really do your research. At the very least you need to read about some documented shark attacks and then go look up "provoke"
