@@jameshill8493 I’m glad they work for you. The stihls I’ve used may have fallen victim to poor maintenance, but I’ve used several. I bought a timberwolf from echo and I love it. It makes a lot of potato chips.

As a climber my self, smaller is so much more convenient when up in the tree. Less to untangle with your harness and tow line and also a lot easier to hold and manipulate with one hand

When I did some arboriculture training back in the 90s they said if I had a good quality chainsaw from Schtill or Huskvana then 99 % of these things are due to Poor maintenance.

A lot of people dont seem to understand the saw was not damaged. It became disassembled. Throwing your chain (as this is called) can damage YOU, and or your chain and sprocket but no the saw is fine

Had this happen to me once while stobbing down a tree from a bucket. Went to make my back cut and after about an inche of cutting the bar, chain, and cover immediately fell off lol. A few minutes before I had cut about a 10-15 foot top above my head while a couple groundsman pulled it. Glad it didn’t happen while I was doing that
