I don’t think that vam vauguh means anything in particular, I read it as the literal sound a chainsaw makes. Specifically in those old horror movies when the bad guy is revving up the chainsaw and it goes “vam-vauguhgyhguhguhguh”

@@sammalla5238 if you're reading translations I'd wager that its one of those things that wont come across in the most accurate way from japanese to english. Tbh I'd like to ask someone who is fluent in japanese what it reads as, because even back then I'd think it's likely that it was just literal chainsaw sounds. That would compliment the idea that black chainsawman is almost primal in a way and cannot communicate normally.

@@Accomodare I dunno about translations but the vamgagah thing was already a thing back in part 1 so unless, it means something else now... I think he is indeed crying out for a burger my personal interpretation on why burgers, at this very moment is because Pochita is reminiscing that one time when his actions led to Denji taking over again. I think Pochita is again trying to preserve their contract by trying to fulfill those wants but it's quite sad & disjointed now

I personally think Asa didn’t directly hand over control. I think Yoru manipulated Asa to let her guard down for a second and stop fearing her. Remember a condition of Yoru taking over is that Asa can’t actively be scared.

maybe Aging devil's power has to do something with time? All the primals so far have been interpretive concepts: *Darkness* : fear of dark, space, void or even unknown *Falling* : fear of heights, gravity, guilt, regret *Aging* : fear of old age, time, death....? We can outline several fears from one core concept so it's not far-fetched to assume it might be related to time itself even though it's closely age related (diseases, loss of motor functions etc) Also, Aging and Death go hand-in-hand. Humans fear aging as much as Death itself so this mf might be on par with lady Death or as ancient as a devil could get

I read in some place that is actually Old Age devil, since we mainly fear the fragility of old age, to grow old and never amount to anything. This concept could encapsulate Rot and decay which is what It did, touch the bullet, it stopped since it sped up its decay and it turns to dust

I found it very funny how the Aging Devil called Yoru and Denji/Pochita immature considering what its powers are. At least, in their very nature, both Denji and Pochita are defiant enough to not listen to the AD and do things their own way. Asa goes back to being afraid of Yoru just like she was in the beginning of part 2 and during the Falling Devil arc to which Yoru utilized to get back control of Asa's body. Interesting choice of words Yoru used by saying she wants _"her body back."_ She still views Asa as her possession just like with everything else.

This chapter was really great but short, im just confused about pochita's Regen. I thought he got up no matter how many times you "kill" him. That is definitely NOT the case for now. He's on deaths door just from being shot once. I mean, yeah, the shot was incredibly powerful, but Pochita should have just regenerated. Maybe I'm interpreting it wrong? I feel like unless they shot his heart, this makes very little sense. Also side note, aging is much more power than I thought. Edit: People are saying chainsaw man is weaker than he was when he fought against makima, but I don't agree at all. Chainsaw was not very feared by humans beforehand, his power was from other devils fearing him. Of course, when he became famous and was treated like a celebrity, he did get weakend because now there was essentially NO fear coming from humans at all. Now, almost everyone + devils fear him. It is weird.

Maybe he's in a similar state to Yoru, he's slowly regaining his power since Makima has greatly reduced the fear of humans with Pochita and now the fear is starting to manifest but Pochita is probably far from the strength he had before

I dont think so, that shot is a contract and took all the fingers, making it stronger, and poochita could kill humans to get blood but he’s not trying to betray denji as he loves denji and wouldn’t want him to mindlessly slaughter humans

I interpret it as asa was afraid at yoru for a moment so yoru can't control her body, since she can't cotrol her body while asa is afraid. and since yoru showed a feeling she stopped fearing yoru for a moment hence the war devil got her body back again .

I read that as Asa hearing Yoru say that her being afraid of Yoru hurt Yoru’s feeling. That humanized Yoru in Asa’s eyes and made her think Yoru wasn’t just some devil. That brief lapse in judgement and loss of fear for Yoru allowed Yoru to seize control again. Which is why she’s excited when she does

The Aging Devil was ask if his head was empty because she was confused of why Pochita doesn’t want to devour her. Denji/Pochita was just told of the mass child sacrifice that would take place as part of the AD’s contract, in which Chainsaw Man refused; only drinking blood from those who want to give of their own free will. Bento is finding some deep philosophical meaning into something that is probably not there.

One thing I think a lot of people may be misinterpreting about this chapter: as we saw in the falling devil arc, Yoru cannot take over asas body if Asa feels fear, and they ant lie to each other because they share the same thoughts. To to me it doesn’t seem like either is relinquishing control; Asa was truly scared of Yoru in that moment, so she regained power. Yoru felt that, and was genuinely upset, due to sharing emotions, which subconsciously made Asa feel bad for Yoru instead of fear her, which results in Yoru getting back control. I think the next few chapters are gonna be a mess for them psychologically.

Nah, I don't think they have a shot at beating Aging, as it's one of the Primordial Fears, a devil who has never died and reincarnated (like Darkness, Falling and Death).

Nah, I think Aging was just confused on why chainsaw man was ignoring her completely and just reached for the "blood" sign again. That's why she asked if he's stupid. And also Aging didn't "walk past him", he was the one who crawled past her to try to reach the sign, but that just goes to show how Pochita is seeing like almost a completely different plane of existance. It almost feels like he isn't taking the fight seriously. But tbh I think Pochita isn't even thinking abt the fight or anything. Makima herself said that chainsaw man's actions are chaos, so there's no way for anyone to know what Pochita is thinking. He shows no anger, or sadness, or joy, or pain... it seems expressionless to us, it really does seem like Pochita's actions are completely disjointed. But I think that that's bcz we're not meant to understand it yet.

@@ender8352 Pochita is chaos when fighting people but he does feel emotions, he literally said that he tried to hug other devils but because he was too fast he killed them, and the emotions he felt and show when he's with Denji. This behavior of Pochita with the blood sign is him trying to achieve a goal that isn't explain yet.

Pochita true form does show emotions through his actions, just like when he fought against people, interacted with Kobeni on a date and Pochita waving a blood sign and asking for blood in lastest chapter. Pochita in dog form show emotions through his words and actions, when he met Denji for the first time and agreed to make a contract with him, Pochita in the time spending with Denji achieved his goal, and told Denji and the readers what is goal was "getting a hug" and Pochita emotions took over that he saved Denji and made a contract with him, so he can see Denji achieve his goals.
