​@@shutin5817 If you insist well... (SPOILERS) Whats behind the door is one of Denji's biggest trauma. His dad did not commit suicide, actually it was Denji himself who killed him. Of course, he did it out of self defense but he clearly repressed that memory far enough to have it behind a "door" in his mind...

Power freaking got annihilated because of Makima's Finger gun after Denji opened her apartment door. And another where Denji opened Aki's apartment door, the Gun Fiend (while also Aki's Corpse) revealed himself, little bits of showdown and he died because of Denji. In conclusions the door represents and brings pain.

Overrated after 12 episodes, I understood how a show can be a real overrated. Without a special story, it just surfs on the scene and the sexual dialogues for fan service... probably the manga is popular for that reason. Literally a story without content with weak characterization. Also, the world and its demon killing organization is a copy of jjk. Anyway, a story that cannot have a good start is not worth watching.

Try and give the manga a chance. If it still doesn't pique your interest, then it's not for you. At least for me, it's one of my favorites. It's also definitely not as shallow as you think it is.

Jjk not my vibe, u can’t compare both because they both totally different even tho they share kinda the same Demon stuff concept, but i’ve read the entire Chainsaw Man Manga i’m not a fan of sexual fan service but i rlly enjoyed moments like The Darkness Devil which is actual creepy and weird scenes, Jjk lack of that evil, Eerie, sinister macabre vibe that Demos should give ,instead Jjk focuses more on big over the top fights with overpower characters. Conclusion and it’s already stated that CSM is way more darker and sinister than Jjk no doubt, if you like over the top crazy fight watch Jjk, if you like more macabre sinister vibes watch CSM.

Bruh jjk start is also very overrated. You can't just say something is overrated when it has only started. Chainsaw man hype comes after the start and the beginning of the gun devil arc. Smh man some anime fans be saying overrated to the show that isn't even at its peak yet.
