@@matirr9630 The original doesn't have a combat system, it has a defense mechanic to protect the player from environmental hazards posited as "enemies." It doesn't force engaging with them as a necessity like the remake does using a tacked on battle mechanic ripped wholesale out of Callisto Protocol. The original is entirely out of aesthetics and conveying a horror atmosphere, the remake is simply gamification.

James must do battle with enemies and side dodge them in fights because people cannot conceive of any other scenario when it comes to hazard encounters in video games. Ergo, Silent Hill 2 is now a battle video game. Please learn English as well, that will help some but not your poor understanding of the original game nor the remake.

I have played the original and it seems the developers have totally reimagined the scenarios compared to the original game. This is looking more like Resident Evil than Silent Hill. Also, why's the animation so choppy and I'm seeing pyramid head clipping through objects. I say, give the original a go if you haven't already. It's one of a kind experience that can't just be described through words...
