I have a T650, great machine. When using the Grapple Bucket, right before you detach it, lower the grapple about 1" from the bottom of the cutting plate (do not allow it to touch) then before you take off they hydraulic couplers, press the female in for 3 seconds, then male, then female, then male. You should see the grapple slowly lower that last 1" to touch the cutting plate. Then take the couplers off and plug them into each other so as they heat up and cool down pressure can equalize. Otherwise, it's going to be extremely hard to put them back on the machine after a day or so, especially if there is pressure in the system. You might be able to take the male hose and press in the center to bleed out some hydraulic fluid, otherwise you will need two wrenches and break apart the hydraulic coupler from the hose to let some fluid/pressure out. Irwin makes : QC Mate Quick Coupler Hand Clamp It's a way to use a clamp to help you reattach the hydraulic coupler if you lack sufficient arm/hand strength.

Totally jealous that you both have equipment and room to use it. on the rare occasion that I move big logs, I use a log arch, pipe tripod and come-a-longs or high lift jack.

I like those 650s, they run pretty damn well and are fairly reliable. Now you need to tint the windows to match the paint😂 though in all honesty 0% ceramic tint is a life saver in the summer on cabs, the only downside side is you can’t see the operator if the windows are closed

That Bobcat looks great y'all. Y'all gonna love having the power of hydraulics . Did they go through any of the hydraulics ? The seals in the cylinders, especially the rod seals , start to deteriorate after 10 years , maybe sooner depends on weather , sun and use . I'd change hydraulic oil also if the didn't , but I would think they did that and filter.

Congrats on the purchase, I hope it does everything you need it to be. This might be long, but hope you read it. We've owned a CAT 257B2 for many years and primarily use a rotating grapple to handle logs. Example kzbin.info/www/bejne/moHTYoWbqM98f5I We still have that machine, and recently purchase a new (demo unit) Kubota SVL65-2 which is comparable in power and lift capacity to the unit you bought. With the forks, bucket and grapple bucket you probably won't need anything else for operating a wood yard but the list of skidsteer attachments is quite long. Like John said, keep an eye on your hoses. They are not only expensive to replace, but it can be an expensive mess to clean up wasted hydraulic fluid. As long as you keep up your maintenance log for fluids, grease and filters, the machine should last you for many thousands of hours. Keep a journal book of your maintenance; date of when you grease the fittings, when you replace filters, perform repairs, when you fuel up, how much fuel , record the hours, have a look at how much fuel you are using per hour based on the activity. If you start to see noticeable changes in fuel consumption, the journal you keep will help you (and your mechanic) help narrow down when/why. I usually wait until the tank is 1/4 full then put in two jugs (total 40L) of diesel. That brings it up to a little over 3/4 tank. I usually get 9-11 hours from that amount of fuel, but we don't drive the machine hard, so it sips fuel. And one last thing, be mindful of exiting and entering the skidsteer. Know your foot and hand placement and be mindful of how your knees rotate while your foot is placed on the machine getting in and out. Step in and out, don't jump to the ground. Even healthy knees will take a beating and I see you are already wearing a knee brace. Think safe, have fun! 🙂
