OMG! I love, love, love this song!! Hua Hua is my favorite little rock star! I totally agree with you -_- he is tiny and petite, and down right adorable yet he has a big awesome voice!! I love how he interacts with the audience and he specifically sings songs that involve the audience, especially at his concerts. The words of the song hit home with me too. I am happy with myself, who cares what others think.

Hua Chenyu is a combination of contradictions. His personality is a little playful, very shy, super humble and adorable, but he is super comfortable and very confident on stage. His used to composed song for himself and not willing to share with people when he first started his career. He was very introvert as he had a lonely childhood, he than slowly opens up and starts write songs for the audience and oftens leave certain part for his fans to participate. He received lots of critics when started as he is too unique compare to what Chinese mainstream music is , this song is his attitude, his belief and is so powerful. His stage presence and persona make any audience his own.This is a competition and the audience is different at every episode, they are not his fans but if you watch other episodes of the Singer 2018 you’ll see that he always interacts with them and ends up owning the stage and the audience, they always end up singing with him voluntarily or not. Kudos for finding your way！FYI, the audiences to this particular performance are actually not his loyal fans (Though I don't know how many are converted after this performance...). Since 'SINGER' is a singing competition, the show actually have a very strict audiance selection process.It's very difficult for any fan of one particular singer to have voting rights. More of Hua please please please!

I always enjoy your reactions. I too was in the corporate world for over 20 years. When I retired I found my true passion, massage therapy. Doing what you're passionate about makes all the difference. The Singer has introduced us to so many wonderful singers. Of course Dimash, and The Lion band (rock and roll) from 2017. Then Hua Hua, KZ, Huo Zun, Tengri from 2018. From 2019 there is Palina ( spelling?) To name a few.

notice the ONE OK ROCK T-shirt and poster at the back! hahaha! I like them too! Anyway, Hua Hua (Hua Chen Yu's nick) is really an awesome singer. Other than having a strong vocal and great songs, what attracts me to him is also his philosophy in making music and towards life. This man, who is younger than me, but his mentality towards life is way beyond his age, and definitely something that not everyone can do it. He's really someone whom people can get inspired to, and also changes the way people thinking about their daily life, when they faced obstacles, when they faced all kinds of noises etc etc. Thank you for discovering him. He's truly one gem that this world needs.

Huahua's assigned song was actually a period drama "The Monkey King" main theme with no lyrics. Watch how Huahua turn it around within 24 hrs which he has to recompose the song, wrote the lyrics, guide the musicians and backup singers, all within 24 hrs, to perform the song to compete.
