Mine does it intentionally and very slow all night. For 4 years now. This doesn't help just payback. Try downloading or putting on industrial fan noise 12 hrs. It will kill the other sounds.

Oh and scrape a dresser across the floor because you had to be up at a certain time and opened your closet to get ready!!! You needed to clean your home? You used a vacuum? Yeah, my noisy neighbours moved in in March and it's been just lovely for the past 10 months. This helps for payback but not much for sleeping. I found that downloading a 12 hour industrial fan sound onto a usb chip and playing it on a sound system will kill all other noise and let you get a good nights sleep. Good luck
