Malaika was the only one with a "harness", actually just a rope they tied around her waist and down to the train under her skirt, because she kept bouncing around on the train. When they untied the rope later they found bleeding rope burns and bruises. I believe she was a replacement hire and only had a week or two to learn her steps and the song lyrics for lip syncing.

Sukhwinder(singer) is that one guy who suggest rahman to recreate this Sufi folk song "thayya thayya" by poet buleh shah Because rehman want to compose one punjabi devotional song in movie dil se So sukhwinder suggest this famous Sufi song by buleh shah Later gulzar changed lyrics to chaiyya chaiyya That's why Tamil version retained that word thayya thayya. Original lyrics is "Tere ishq ne nachaya karke thayya thayya" Taka thayya thayya
