In 1974 I was a 19 yr old young woman. One night I walked into a male friends house, Rufus on tv (OGWT, I think)- 6 fellas were glued to the gloriously beautiful Chaka, fronting Rufus & singing this song. I loved the song & still, today, listening to this track, brings that fireside vision of them absolutely frozen in time, watching Chaka belt out this track!! Chaka, you’ve got it, the voice, music & All!!! ps night in Tunisia also shows her adaptability, Janie.

Man. I always loved this song. I like all kinds of music but hard rock is my favorite. I saw Chaka Kahn live about 20 years ago. Chaka and the band killed it. They were tight.
