Chakla Dham and Kachua Dhan are important religious places located in West Bengal. It is the birthplace of Yogi Baba Lokenath in the 18th Century.
There is a controversy on the fact that whether the birthplace of Lokenath was originally Chakla Dham or it was Kachua Dham.
As per court verdict Kachua Dham was Lokenath Baba’s original birthplace.
Baba Lokenath was born in a Hindu family in the year 1730 on an auspicious day of Janmashtami.
The Chakla Dham temple was built on massive land and it contains many small houses dedicated for religious purposes.Raja Nrisingha Deb Roy started to construct the Chakla Dham temple and later his widow Rani Shankari completed the construction of the temple.
Chakla Dham is located in the Denganga Tehsil in North 24 paraganas.
You can reach the Chakla Dham both through the Train route or by road.
To reach Chakla Dham by road, you have to take a car or taxi. Travelers can take the Jessore road coming from Bongoan, Habra, or Kolkata.Taking a turn at the Guma crossing on the Jessore Road you will first come across Badar Bazar and finally Chakla village.
If you take the train route, it will take approximately 30 minutes to reach Chakla Dham from the Guma Railway station.You can catch the Sealdah-Bagaon Division eastern railway to reach Chakla Dham.
KachuaDham:
The Kachuavillage belongs under Barasat -2 Block, north 24 Parganas in West Bengal, India.KachuaDhamisjust almost 50 km away from Kolkata. You can easily reach this place through railway or highway.
Railway:
You can get easily a local train for Hasnabad From Sealdah. in every hour one or two Hsnabad Local trains dispatched from Sealdah. Then your next destination should be Kankra Mirja Nagar station. After reaching Kankara Mirja Nagar, you can easily get machine van or toto.
High way:
The Alternative way to reachKachuaDhamis High way.Take Surya Sen St to Acharya Prafulla Chandra Rd in Sealdah →Then take VIP Rd, Rajarhat Rd, Kharibari Rd and Kolkata - Basirhat Rd/Taki Rd to Mandir Road in Kachua→Turn right at Kachua Telephone Exchange onto Mandir Road.
