he sings very well...and his voice comes out quite close to guru....but one interesting i noticed is that Anand Vinod never has any tab or phone or book to read lyrics from, never in any of his stage songs.....like wise there is one singer Mukhtar Shah who sings Mukesh's songs. Mukhtar also never ever has any lyrics book or tab to read from. These guys I think years and years of singing so all the lyrics are memorized
