oddly enough if u see hardik's first film kaamyab..the element of father-daughter relationship seemed to have elements of 'khatta meetha' and some other basu chatterjee films' .the reluctance of father to be dependent on his daughter was quite similar to how the great ashok kumar refuses to let his children do the odd chores for him all of this may be found its way into kamyab

"Bawarchi" is the official remake of Bengali Film "Golpo Holeo Sotti" by Tapan Sinha, believe me if you watch the original one is much much better than "Bawarchi".

There is a very less known short film by Satyajit Ray named 'Two' (link herewith), which, I think, should have been in this list. 'Sing' was excellent, but personally I would rank 'Two' even higher than 'Sing'. kzbin.info/www/bejne/sHKmeH-gmZ59hLs
