Great interview. About dicaprio, I understand where you are coming from, his performances in the classics like Gangs of NY, Aviator, Departed, blood diamond look forced and looks like he was putting too much effort. But everything starting with Shutter Island has been absolute banger. He had some great performances pre Titanic too like Gilbert grape, basketball diaries, This Boy's life and even in that Aviator/Departed phase he gave a banger like catch me if you can. Even If you can't appreciate the performances, you can't ignore the body of work. He has more number of classics on his resume than even Pacino and Brando. The last bad film he was in was probably The Beach. Blood Diamond, Body of Lies, J edgar can be called average films but everything else is top notch.

Don’t agree with both regarding Leo Di Caprio’s acting abilities. He has an impressive and impeccable range as an actor. He has worked with some genius directors across the board and that says a lot about his skills and abilities as an actor. Manoj Bajpai is no doubt one of the best actors in India but he’s trying too hard to be charismatic and charming in his recent interviews. There’s something odd about him, he’s trying to be well versed complimenting commercial films but he wasn’t fully honest or convincing. He wants to be regarded as a very superior actor and disassociate himself from commercial actors as if they are of lesser quality. He does it subtly but one can see through his intent. I find this approach very condescending. More than EQs and IQs, I find Resilience Quotient is the key for many great actors.

Indian actors nd so called podcast interviewers have one problem criticism bhut krte hain, Hollywood ab phle jaisa nahi rha arre Bhai Hollywood ke pass aaj bhi great young actors hain, Leonardo DiCaprio ki acting work nhi krti inke liye, arre Bhai phle uske jaise ek performance de kr dikha do,usne bachpan mein what's eating Gilbert grape nd basket ball dairies jaisi performances di hain ,uske baad titanic, the revenent, departed aur pta nahi kitni great performances di hain aur yeh log baith kr critise krne lag jate kisi bhi artist ko,Manoj Bajpai aur rajkumar Rao bhut logo ko same lgte hain kuch depth nhi lagti inki acting mein toh kya isse hum bole ki acche actor nhi hai, they are great actor kisi ke liye work kre n kre nd Manoj sir se yeh ummeed nhi thi ki woh Leonardo DiCaprio jaise great actor ke baare mein esa bole just because immature interviewer ne bol Diya

If Manoj Bajpayee ever reads this - if you really want to enhance perspective/dig deep/seek better into spirituality - should get onto a Saattvik diet for few months! The main intention behind that is to have your mind (Chitta) in neutral gear gradually.. he mentioned saattvik so thought of writing this out.. ‘coz it really matters and is not a cult kinda thing - but means something to be relevant / related to spirituality in every religion since ancient times!!
