Isn't it the transitional period between Neolithic and Bronze age ???? IVC is bronze age . Chalcolithic phase is 2800 B.C. to 700 B.C. it continues with IVC (2500 B.C. to around 1750 B.C. )and Vedic( 1500 B.C. to 500 B.C.) ,but started within the end of Neolithic( 4000 B.C. to 1000 B.C.). It is a rural culture beside Urban development of Bronze age .
