Been in St Ives 10 years now and this was the best night we as a town ever had. We had GZA a few months before but Charlie outclassed, out rapped and just generally out performed GZA. Seeing this man and Krafty live was mental. Best live performance ever.

Chali is one of THE most underrated MC's ever. Period. His flow, style, cadence and confidence on the mic is elite. I was lucky enough to catch him doing a set with Break Science at Camp Bisco YEARS ago and have been a fan ever since.

Been listening to J5 and Chali for ever, I think a lot of the reason why he didn’t take off on the mainstream like he deserves is he didn’t have the usual excessive explicit lyrics that we here ie: violence girls money etc, more about real life struggles and triumphs and it’s a plus listening to it the car many years later with my kids not worrying about explicit language , mad respect to him and his crew J5 for keeping it real. He needs to get into doing voice acting in cartoons etc like Jermaine from Flight of the Concords.
