Super similar for me. My older brother was super popular and I was the shy middle child. I drank for 20 years and have been clean for two months now. I've stopped before but this is the first time I actually wanted to quit. It's cool to see athletes talking about this stuff because a lot of people are suffering quietly. I didn't have a blowout moment where my life was ruined.. it was just not 100% for 20 years of my life. Anyway, its not about me.. just cool to see Maxx talking about this and hopefully it resonates with someone else that might be rotating liquor stores so they don't feel judged by the cashier.

Like Maxx Crosby, I gave up alcohol. I had a slip-up around 10-11 years ago just trying to be sociable. Never again. My neck surgeries probably saved my life (from being an alcoholic). I wake up in so much pain every morning that having a hangover is simply NOT an option.
