Yeah I'm also interested in ZED X but I also need to purchase Jetson Orin series in addition to the camera itself which costs too much for me so far.

What depth setting did you use for the ZED Mini? Have you tried the new NEURAL depth mode?

For ZED Mini, I used ULTRA for depth mode. I tried NEURAL but failed because of CUDA issue I guess. When I fix it, I will try NEURAL depth too.

I'm curious to see how they compare outdoors. For example, in a sunny day (lots of infrared) and with objects at longer distance (~10m).

So far I'm interested in indoor application and also comparison outdoors looks difficult, but I may try comparison of depth camera when I start making some outdoor application.

@@roboticsinacademia3170 Thank you for watching my video. At this moment, I focus on indoor applications with robot arm so haven't tried these camera for outdoor. Outdoor comparison would be an option for future.

Something is wrong with D455. Are you increasing laser power to max? using post processing? adjusting resolution for optimal z-dist? (at 500mm you can use max 848 x 480).

Since I tested this last year and not remember much about the detail of the config at that time but I didn't change anything from the default setup.
