I like the Ahri Warriors part of the guide. I always get hung up on going with Akali because I keep forgetting what units to put in if I get one of the other ones and end up doing poorly because of it. I haven't had much luck lately on my climb to GM. Got to around 250LP and then hit a big streak of bottom 6-8s (mostly because I tried comps I wasn't familiar with but thought would work similarly to the ones I usually use) so I'm thankful for this guide which helps me understand some of the lines I don't fully understand. Also good to see a bunch of 2-cost rerolls being A-tier. 2-cost rerolls fit so nicely with the Super Fan package that I like to play.

akali goes with superfan and other kda units and karthus unless you hit exe akali. My tips to climbing and if you wanna hit gm is to watch streamers and know when you need to stabalize or not. If your board is weak on 3-2, it's good to sell your chosen and find a new one to fix your board with some rolls, not too much. Don't be picky with the chosen, a better itemholder upgrading from a 1 cost is all you need. On 4-2 you need to recognize when you're stable enough to go 9 or need to roll for a new board. Sometimes you can play HS and get away with 1 ezreal and a chosen poppy say with items or rascal gloves and start to go 9 with 30 gold. thats how you win games. Other times you lose hard and realize your board sucks so you need to roll hard to stabalize. Other than that, learn how to play early game. Learn what units to hold, every 1 cost is useful unless it can't be played into your comp. If you have bigshot corki chosen, hold tanky units and play a front to back comp. Don't play contested comps unless your spot is just superior and you already have units, but try not to hold hands.

@user-yf8db9ys5y I find the early game isn't an issue for me as I usually win streak through stage 2. It's late stage 3 and stage 4 I run into issues as the heartsteel players catch up after their cashouts or I'm not hitting the 2-cost or 3-cost 3*s I need. But I have started to do some of the things you suggested like selling my first HL in stage 3 to get a better one and rolling more aggressive late stage 3/early stage 4 to get a more stable board and so far I'm seeing more success. Also sticking with familiar lines while practicing those things has helped.

you never needed spat to play riven in the first place lmao. spat is used for 6 8bit, it just makes it broken. Play riven when you know u have the items for her or if you hit silver veil and have good damage items

I wasn't successful with the challenge (reaching Challenger with the 1-trick account) by around 10 LP, so I am not uploading it. In the future, to avoid these long types of pauses in case a challenge is unsuccessful, I will upload during a challenge to show progress (especially when it gets as close as this was). This was an unfortunate learning event, but there will be no HS video.

Kinda sad how Yone reroll fell off so hard. He hasn't been good for the last several patches.

He's not bad, he's just impossible to hit with everyone playing heartsteel. He's also much less BIS reliant than riven is so imo he's much better IFF u can hit. The issue is u never hit unless u giga highroll while playing a heartsteel board before transitioning and then u most likely have the wrong items or are unlikely to pick up the headliner cause u want to play the lvl 8 HS board after cashing out instead

@@shivdmanwii no but the thing is I regularly hit cause no one plays Yone. And I do get some of the best augments for him while also getting bis items. But once everyone starts hitting level 9 boards with massive frontline like Illaoi, he'll eventually die to the enemy before even getting into the backline.

​@@ZXbolterZX considering 6 crowd diver is one of the highest winrate traits without an emblem required that's hard to agree with. Yes yone is a triple trait unit so you can't always get the correct trait for him but saying he's fell off when the correct trait HL was always an issue is just not true
