U should always prioritize MR over oblivion orb against vlad. I OTP vlad and theres nothing worse than when someone rushes just a tiny bit of MR in early game. 450 for a magic mantle is all u need to heavily win trades on teemo. After that u can buy oblivion orb but i think getting nashors asap is a better option, instead of delaying it by 800 gold. Antiheal against a good vlad just isnt that good bcz as vlad you can heal to full by using Q on krugs/gromp. TDLR: antiheal isnt a big deal for vlad bur MR is. Getting both is great and never rush antiheal over MR.

have been told the same as midlander, MR prevents damage which also prevents healing, which is a double benefit

i think you should use barrier even if you arent dieing. especially if he uses ignite. the cooldown for barrier is as low as ignite so it might be the same idea as using ignite in trades often even if you dont kill just to get prio.

true but also the threat of being able to barrier something dictates what the opponent can and cant do a lot, so saving it helps also

adc gets barrier because heal is neerfed to the oblivion. jg and mid ganks bot more often so much action and support cant go afk because you didnt heal them. issue with barrier is its reactive not proactive. you want to use it as a last resort and if you miss its useless. you use it earlier and you win then you think did i really needed to use it.
