If you loved Challengers, then you’ll probably be in the camp of people who like Bones & All. Yeah I definitely agree with all of your negatives, D. That music playing over characters dialogue felt like they were in a night club… in a sauna 😂 I’m glad you had a good time with it, more so than me 🙂

It's the nightclub experience that the music is going for because it's wild and crazy...It's a master class of how to make the movie intense with all of the twists and turns it's giving you. 😄

Firstly. You got a great singing voice LOL. Did not expect that. Guadagnino is one of the most interesting directors around these days and I am really looking forward to seeing this one as i enjoyed Call Me By Your Name, Bones & All and Suspiria. Terrific video

All the acting was incredible. :) And the storyline was great. I think if someone is an action packed, more plot driven movie fan they may not like it as much, but those who love character driven stories would love this. They were all intriguing yet realistic, like not only is the story believable but the characters are too (and probably has before).

IMO, the music overtaking the dialogue was done to portray the emotions of the moments vs. the actual spoken verbiage. I LOVED this messy, complex movie and feel it's better than most that I've seen for the last few years! Nothing cookie cutter about it.

My Mom watched Gone Girl, and she thought that the movie was interesting but the ending felt odd to her.

I've read the book and watched the film twice and really enjoyed both. The ending is effective to me because the unexpected antagonist sets the ultimate trap for the assumed antagonist. But I also don't mind shocking and/or unhappy endings, so I can understand why it might not work for some people.
