More like twenty percent of the dialogue. It's all the same beats, Luca's a good enough director to know he doesn't need a ton of dialogue to get things across. It also would have been waaaayyy too long.

The script that’s available to the public is the one from the Blacklist that the writer finished back in 2021. The dramatic beats are mostly the same, but a lot of the dialogue does get edited and shortened. Also, in the original script Patrick was actually middle-class working and struggling for money rather than a trust-fund guy who played the part of the underdog (which you can see is also part of the scene) And theeen, there’s also a whole analogy regarding fire/ice (Patrick being fire, Art being ice) that starts from their first conversation with Tashi and continues through the whole story that was also edited from the final film

Alot of dialog gets lost in big budget in small budget films in short films. For so many reasons.
