Workplace violence against healthcare workers has been increasing, threatening their physical and psychological safety and well-being. Fearing for one’s personal safety and experiencing traumatic stress from threats and violence degrade professional satisfaction and make it difficult for healthcare workers to provide high-quality, compassionate care.
