@Firm Fiasco What a superb presentation with padentic ideas coming from a re-owned business man from Southern Africa Nicholars Oppeinheimer. He spoke about long term sustainability to the local communities which i think most companies from my country Zimbabwe is not taken in true sense. Again the issue of transperancy and good governance is a challenge we are facing , which in my view if it is addressed Zimbabwe has a potential of becoming one of the best in the Southern region of Africa. I respect the Oppenheimer family because the have strong morals and live up to the words in deeds. I am one person who benefited from their corporate social responsibility

Are you sure though? I'm not so sure anymore. Coz the same can be said about KFC and McDonald's corporations. It's just business nothing personal, it takes a business person to understand that.

Covid may have been caused by Bill Gates for financial reasons we may never know. Lines get blurred very easily when businesses become too big. It takes an economics and business student to understand that. Coz that's where the is revealed and its flaws.

I used to think so too until I listened unbiasedly. They are talking business sense and all they want is a business friendly environment, in this country and across Africa. Loud people like Malema are pushing socialism coz they want to pocket everything for themselves like North Korean govt. While the rest of us that do the actual work remain poor and at their mercy. It's a pity that we can't see their scam, until it's too late like Zimbabwe.

@@nanadlamini4054 When they say they want a business friendly environment they actually mean they want an environment in which they can do whatever they want, this includes cheap labour or slave wages, control of government, courts and police, they want to dictate

When I was poor, I too didn't believe in until I got out of that mindset and got lucky. Politicians are spreading propaganda about business people. And for a while I believed them until it happened to me and my business. And now I'm not so sure of these political propagandists.
