Challenges in managing a big five reserve - Marakele National Park

One of the biggest Issues with THIS Big 5 Reserve is finding them: - Elephant sightings are designated as Occasional, since they habituate the Northern inaccessible terrain. - White Rhino - common - Black Rhino, Lion and Leopard - rare - Buffalo - very rare (herd of 20 re-introduced in Oct 2013). - Cheetah and Hyena - also rare. Do hope this picture (SafariBookings) is wildly inaccurate, as we are booked to visit in Oct next.
