Managers stand behind you telling you what to do... leaders are in front showing you the way... When I started out as a young MS I can attest to this... 10 to 12 elders constantly telling me what to do, constantly moaning it wasn't good enough, it wasn't enough, week in week out, year in year out... When the time came to go preaching, I was the one getting called on to take the group, to lead the ministry, to sort out the territory... these men were no where to be found... Thank you Jack for your video and your work! I now am working on the person I want to become and the person I want my kids to look up to... not those Pharisees who bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. 🙏

Our Elders would go over text for service group then at the breakfast buffet @10am. I was a bus boy @ Chinese bar / restaurant. Our 2 Elders would close the bar down Friday and Saturday nights. I was a bus boy dishwasher. Real nice example for young adults

It is an advantage not to care about others opinions. The earlier you learn this the better!

Thank you so much for your thought provoking video. Leadership at work is similar. If you have an idea that would benefit the company, you want to share it. If you have a boss that is a follower, your idea probably will not be heard. If you have a leader, they will listen & decide if your idea can be useful. Same is true in the organization. The elders are bosses, the nine GB are the bosses. The rules are in place, periodically intercepted by new light. New light often is preceded by using the laws of the land to benefit themselves. Examples? Not charging for literature bc of taxes. Reporting CSA only when required by local laws. Destroying records of CSA is an example of following instead of leading. WT wants to be leaders? Turn over the data base of confessed pedophiles. Gotta wonder, Who is leading Watchtower?

It's more about effective teaching & communication than about having authority within a congregation. The closest thing to leadership would speaking with faith and conviction in teaching and being an example in following Christ, who is head of the Congregation and the examplar of faith. there's no ambitious goal because there's ladder of having more authority. Only more responsibilities in service of the congregation being a effective teacher.

Leaders no when a good leader see's something not right they take a stand and speak up about it. How many elders know the truth about 1914, 607 BCE, stay alive until 25, stay alive until 75, the rewriting of the Bible to fit the narrative etc... My old congregation which I still watch on Zoom only has about 30 people in attendance with about 8 elders. All yes men. Even their wives never attend meetings unless they have a part.

Jack, I need someone to hear me. I am a black woman from Brooklyn NY, was a JW, and left after years of abuse. A few months ago, I wrote a letter to the elders of Pennsylvania congregation in Brookln, and the aftermath has been ridiculously satanic. I am writing this today after I came from lambasting some in the dental office. I went last week to have a root canal done and I believe I was given too much anesthesia among other unethical treatments. Again yesterday the same thing was done to me which again, incurred headache, toothache, and an elevated blood pressure. I returned yesterday after treatment, and one of thevJW pushed her head out of the door. I have done nothing wrong to the JWs. I have to walk my own spiritual journey which does not include religion. I have been slandered, mistreated, and abused. Moreover, this group was involved in my losing employment on more than 1 occasion. I am 67 years old, and have been going through hell since day 1. Please give me some tips on how to address this problem because doctors take an oath not to harm anyone. But whatever these bitches are telling the dentist is causing me harm.

I thought the governing body we're not supposed to be leaders of the people just feeders of the people. Didn't Jesus say call no one your leader. They are just out of step with the truth of the good news. That's the vision.

I guess Jehovah would not be considered a leader either… speaking from behind us too!! Isaiah 30:21 “your own ears will hear a word BEHIND you saying ‘This is the way. Walk in it.’ in case you should go to the right or left” Great info Jack, thank you!

If we can not copy someone’s deviations they should not be our leader. God described in the Old Testament is not a person I would follow.

They look for yes men. Like you said JW's make managers not leaders. Nothing like Jesus. He was the master that did what his servant's would not. He talked the talk and walked the walk. That is why his true servant's would die for him.

Is there any verified information as to whether th GB even regularly participate in the door to door work?

Yes, I interviewed a person who was in Bethel and now is an exjw. She personally went to service with Steven Lett. Others also testified that to be true. One reporter saw Anthony Moris in service when he tried to ask him some questions but he quickly run away. But he was in service.

There’s no doubt that your comments, your interpretation as well as your research on the JWs’ phenomenon are very enlightening. Nevertheless, have you ever wondered that Jehovah is listening from above and holds you accountable for your talks and your actions? Would that ever be a thought-provoking issue for anyone to consider at present and for the future? It would be very interesting for me to have your view on the matter. Thank you!

If Jehovah exists I’m hoping he will forgive me for all the years I was a Witness spreading falsehood. Looking at the way Jesus treated Pharisees, I think you should be more concerned about the Governing Body. The amount of blood they have on their hands is staggering. I’m glad more and more people can see what’s really happening. Thank you for watching

Keep doing research! Your view of Jehovah may not be valid for who he really is. You might be influenced by the Watchtower narrative.

They cultivate FOLLOWERS at every level. Any leader of that organization is removed from it, and you will never know who it is. The closest you might come is international bankers.

I would hope that you would ask the “Governing Body” - watchtower leadership, this question. If you are an active member, ask the elders if you (or them) can ask all the Governing Body members this question. And if you do this, please come back here and tell us what happened. Thank you. 🙏🏽
