The salt morning star does salt damage, which means that some enemies (like the antlion i think) will receive extra damage, while others will receive less damage, you can also make spicy, salt or mint globs to upgrade your weapons to add special damage to them

@@noodlemaster4997 not really, there is in the game the 3 main "elemental" weapons: the salt morning star, spicy coaltana and mint mallet. What you can do is convert salt, mint and spicy shards into globs and use them at the smithing station to upgrade your weapons while also giving them a bit of spicy/mint/ salt damage
