Hey Amanda!! Thanks for this reaction. This type of dance is called Kathak, but the style is courtesan..performed in usually Islamic courts...Kathak was an Indian classical dance until Mughals converted it to be performed by courtesans

Amanda you seem to be a Lata Mangeshkar fan. Her's is probably the most gifted family musically, on Indian subcontinent. Lata enjoyed an uninterrupted career as a Bollywood playback singer for five decades. Her only competition came from her own younger sister Asha Bhosle who herself had an equally successful career.
