Dear all Our politicians think that collective responsibility is raising their hands for anything, and everything come before them. There is provision even in the cabinet not to vote for something that is against someone's conscience. Some ignorant politicians are under the impression that collective responsibility is to raise hands, as others are doing so. This has made real chaos in decisions made even in the Cabinet. This is a big blow to the independence and the democracy itself. Our politicians should be empowered at least in the present government to follow the suit without yielding to undue pressures from the party or colleagues. However, many resort to doing the wrong for their own benefit. There is also a saying in the Sri lanka parliament only that there are no "permanent friends or foes in politics" This is also a phrase developed by unscrupulous politicians for their own benefit. Ask them who said so? "RATTHARAN" or "T-KUTTI"?
