For PS2/XBox, they made HP2 before HP1, so they didn’t learn to not say the flavour every time you pick a bean up, but they thought “you know what it lacks? Saying the flavour. But we only record a voiceline for 5 different flavours”

This Game was actually made before the first one because the First Harry Potter game on the PS One was the movie tie in. Then this one was released. Then because of how successful this game was they decided to remake the original game with ps2 models. But the remake of the first game wasn't very popular and is now a rare ps2 game

you've probably been told this already but: this game came out before the PS2/GC/Xbox Harry Potter Sorcerer of Stone game, a different company worked on that one and ripped the hogwarts map from this game into that game. Many people consider the PC version of Sorcerer stone to be the best version (even though it still has a bit of jank). The wierd thing is the PC and console versions of Harry Potter are very different from each other. Same idea, different layout. definitely check out the PC version of 1,2 and 3 if you can. Its considered abandonware so don't bother looking for it at online stores

The GameBoy Color versions of the first two Harry Potter movie tie-in games were gold. The GBA versions not so much. Thankfully the team that did the GBC versions did the GBA version of _Prisoner of Azkaban_ ... I'm quite glad those were my first HP game experiences.

I had this for computer as a kid and put so many hours into it, good times. Although I’ll fully admit that it doesn’t hold up today, like at all lol. I’ll always have those rose tinted glasses for it though. My friend owned the 1st game and we would constantly swap them to play the other game.
