I done my Fitting and Turner apprenticeship at CJD back in the 70s and later worked in the R&D department. We built great prototypes and testing transmissions, diffs and final drives ready for productions. 36 and 28 disc ploughs sadly never made it to production after extensive design and testing. Great part of my life and set me up for great jobs in my later years, best place to do an apprenticeship by far and was a great company.

I worked at CJD in Welshpool in the IT department from 1981 until 1986. I designed and help develop a "common parts" system for the design office.

Drove a 306 for extra.money simply was a.good solid tractor and reliable.many are now used in tractor trac.Thanks
