I just have the powder. I did the same thing when I got mine, cut out white and black clay. On white, the color is very subtle and on black, it's like BAM! I think the color shift is more noticable when resin is applied. I love all the colors.

I use the Chameleon Powder as well as the Chameleon Flakes from Let's Resin. (For some reason neither is currently available on Amazon UK 😭 😭 😭 ) I work with resin & the depending on what I make, İ dust the silicone moulds with the Powder or the Flakes. I then use a dark Mica Powder that I mix into the resin, because this allows the colours from the Chameleon Powders/Flakes to pop a bit better. I always find the result stunning It is good to know it works on polymer clay too when you dust them with it. Here as well I would probably go with the dark clay so the colours can pop better ☺️

I use both flakes and powder, in my opinion, you have to use more of the flakes to get a "solid" covering. But, I'm also of the opinion that the flakes give a more deeper, richer color than the powder. Just my opinion. I much prefer the flakes over powder.

I recently got the chameleon flakes from let's resin and absolutely love them. I used a stencil on black clay and they were gorgeous.

I haven't finished watching yet but it seems to me the flakes might make nice inclusions when making faux using translucent? I have used pearl mylar flakes to make faux opal before so just a thought.😊

Yes! That's an awesome idea, maybe I should try that? 😀
