Yeah Laurence, the fillet command only has 1 setting (radius) as opposed to 2 settings for chamfer (distance 1 and distance 2) and therefore can be the quicker one to use.

Wayne. You could also use the fillet command. Radius 0. Is there a way of doing same for 3d lines? I.e to fillet to intersection in 3d?

Yes, you can do the same with Fillet R=0, good tip! I'm not aware of any way to do it with 3D lines, though. I think the Z value has to be common to the two lines you are working on for this to work.
