@@kemosleepy2373 out of everything you said only 1 of those were correct. Mater Dei is not playing because California doesnt allow their teams to play in these type of games after the CA Open State Chsmpionship is over. Mater Dei never played a "National Championship" game. Not an official one atleast. And whoever said they wanted to see Collins Hill vs Mater Dei, you can forget it for 2 reasons... A) For the reason stated above, CA teams are not permitted to play in the Geico Bowl Games. And B) Collins Hill plays (14-0) Graham-Kapowsin, the Washington state champion (with an average MoV of 41+ ppg) this afternoon on ESPNU.

Yeah and Chaminade is in class 3a one of the smallest division in Florida. There's about 8 schools just alone in Dade and Broward that would go head to head with Chaminade. Not including the entire state of Florida 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯. If a small class 3a beat the #4 rank team in Arizona (maxpreps final rankings for Arizona), imagine how a class 8A, 7A, 6A, or 5A fair against Highland?
@davidc.9923 жыл бұрын
@@ahucatitlan Chaminade is a private school and one of the tops in Florida. Arizona has an open division for the top 8 teams in the state, no matter the classification. And Highland didnt make the open, thats why i put them at #9. And in Florida the classifications don't mean much. The 3A can be better than the 7As. Ive watched a lot of Florida football over the yrs.
@ahucatitlan3 жыл бұрын
@@davidc.992 The same comparison you mention that a class 3A could beat a Class 7A, you can make the comparison that a public school can beat any private school. Also, class divisions do make a huge difference. A chaminade school (3A) can only limit a certain number of students or athletes, however, St Thomas Aquinas (class 7A) can offer more athletes or students. Chaminade is a small private school, I live about 60 miles away from it. Most athletes are from within the county (8 miles radius).
@Raerofficial3 жыл бұрын
@@ahucatitlan I'm from Florida, and my team actually played Chaminade (Seminole from 8A) the classifications are based purely on school population. 2A is the smallest (1A is classified as "rural" or teams waaayyy out in the sticks) and 8A is the biggest. usually, the better teams are smaller and can bring in better players, while the bigger classes are public schools and kinda just go with whoever comes in. 8A is the best example of this, being the largest, because there are only 2 repeat winners there: Apopka and Seminole. Meanwhile you have teams like Chaminade who win 4 out of the last 6 championships.
@brittlyle35233 жыл бұрын
They would have lost to at leash 15 Florida teams. That's why coaches want "Florida Kids" on their squads.
