I agree with your statement. To be fair, Gorman couldn't stop Central either it was a shootout like always when they play. And the front 7 and QB play is THE ONLY reason why those teams beat teams from FL. The American Samoan population on the west coast has been carrying yall football. Look at MD and Bosco, they're whole team is Simoan and they usually have black players in key positions like RB, WR and DB. But you can't compete up front with them overgrown ass kids 😂. If kids in FL got the tutelage that kids in Cali received at the QB position, it wouldn't be no competition. We def have the superior skill athletes.

I agree 100% with your comment, it's upsetting to see how bad Florida quarterbacks are. Florida's neighbor state (Georgia) pays their coaches millions of dollars. Meanwhile Florida is paying their teacher public school money. Time to catch up Florida.

Then, Chaminade will go on to lose to Bishop Gorman or Mater Dei by 40 points. I realize that Florida has terrible coaching and their quarterbacks are mediocre. When they play schools from the west their defense can't pressure the QB. Look at Miami Central, one of Florida's best if not the best, they looked like a freshmen team the way their defense looked against Bishop Gorman. Same team that destroyed Chaminade. I'm not saying Florida is less talented, what I'm saying is that the west produces great quarterbacks which is why their teams are unbeatable.

If Central defense looked like freshman against Gorman (who is indubitably a top three team), and they only lost by a couple of points; can you imagine what Central may have done to Gorman IF their defense looked like sophomores?

@derrickrandle5785 look at all of Miami Central's out of state losses, Bishop Gorman, St Francis Academy, St. John Bosco....they face against good QBs. Look at Miamj Centrals schedule, not one team from Florida can put fear on Miami Centrals defense. Not until they play in the west coast. A few years ago defending state champion Miami Northwestern got stopped by Jacurri Brown (Lowndes High) because they couldn't contain there QB. Florida football is overrated.

@TheOrlfla81 Crazy thing because Miami Central embarrasses everyone from Florida, but they always come short against out of state opponents. Maybe Miami Central need to schedule varsity games out in the west more often. 🤔
