Champagne Custom Soap w/ Melt & Pour Bubbles | Royalty Soaps

Hi Katie! First time poster, and now first time soap maker, thanks to you! My wife has been watching your videos for months (like, ALL of them) and she's really been wanting to make soap. However, since she's a serial crafter and loves to watch all sorts of crafting videos, I figured this was probably a phase. I was wrong! Eventually, I got on board with making soaps with her, and one recent Saturday, we went hog-wild buying supplies as a Christmas gift for her. Oils, lye, fragrances, colorants, a mold, scrapers, and even a big containee! Last weekend, we did it! Her first loaf (only 5lbs) was using your oil recipe, had the aroma of Dragon Moon from Nurture, colors of Purple Vibrance, Pink Vibrance, and Titanium Dioxide, dropped and then swirled with a coat hanger. Some Pink Vibrance mica and Silver Holographic glitter on top with a figure eight pattern on top completed the Midnight Blossom Soap (or what looks like Princess soap from the colors). It looked and smelled amazing! It did take 2 days to harden up enough to demold it, and even then it was still a bit sticky. We live in Utah, and right now we're keeping the house at 68o, so trace set up REALLY quickly (we mixed everything at our room temp). But when it was finally cut into bar and posted on Facebook, we immediately had people wanting to buy a bar! I made another loaf using Rosemary Mint fragrance and a drop swirl technique using Celadon Green + titanium dioxide as the main color with Green Vibrance and Blue Vibrance as accent colors. It also turned out really well. I wish I could post pictures here to show you. Anyway, I just wanted to say THANK YOU, Katie! Quite honestly, we both got hooked on your videos because of your incredible personality. They are just so much fun to watch. And I love that you're willing to share your knowledge and experience with others instead of secreting it away. I'm sure that's why you've been able to do well enough for Caleb to join you full-time (that, and you're so dang cute!). We look forward to seeing what you put out next on my wife's favorite days of the week: Wednesday and Saturday. Keep soaping, and maybe some day you'll see her on her own soap-making KZbin channel.

The enviroglitter actually does stay on your body...somewhat! I had got one of your glitterati soaps and caught my husband after he had used it! I knew he had because I smelled it on him and sure enough his heiny was super sparkly 😂

Champagne comes in like single serve bottles, and like little packs of four. I highly suggest getting one for your new years party, they're pretty yummy and easy to mix into fruity soda if you don't end up liking the flavor

@@TruelyMadlyShallowly ill have to try that. Sometimes I'll mix a Moscato wine with a soda water in my orange juice, just for something different. I have to get some fruit in somehow. Either way, mixing alcohol and fruit and/or veggie juice makes adulting more fun!

AWESOME BLOSSOM ♥️👽♥️ Your little Sweetheart gets prettier and cuter everytime I see her. I had 3 girls, with the youngest to be 37 in January. Anyway the SOAP looks beautiful.! I have never had anything Champagne flavored. I have drank Champagne and my fridge is always stocked with Sprite. This time of year the Coke company puts out Cranberry Sprite which is glorious with Peach flavored vodka in it.!!

I don't even have champagne on special occasions. I do, however, REALLY enjoy sparkling grape juice. Boozy flavors have never been my jam but those bubbles really make me feel festive :) I try to have a bottle of champagne during the holiday celebration for those who do like it.

That's a gorgeous soap! Also, as someone who's had different kinds of champagne, prosecco, etc. I can say that the Brambleberry fragrance oil has the effervescence down, but otherwise it smells more like ginger ale to me than white wine/champagne, which is okay because ginger ale smells great to me.

I LOVE the inside! it looks like champagne when it's being poured! those colors are perfect! my only hesitation are the embeds. ima be honest, that looks like the inverse of those flower pod things with all the holes in them.... probably a little too big for my taste

Champagne from BB is amazing! 🙌 I know people say it smells like lemon-lime soda but I always find those scents to have a heavy sugary note; Champagne is light and also has a touch "boozy" smell to it!
