In case anyone surprised by the frequency of crits in the video, it is probably due to super luck + scope lens to get an extremely high crit rate. Not sure if this was mentioned anywhere in the vid cos i havent finished it. Also you can run air cutter which has +1 crit rate to guarantee crit on both opponents

@@HeraldOfOpera well like the guy above me said, lvl don't really matter in anime. What Ash has going for him, it is his on the spot strategy which catches the opponent off guard. Unpredictability, if you will. Ppl tend to disregard this and call it plot armor, which is sad,tbh. If ppl find it believable Cynthia could loose to Red, then it should be the same with Ash. He has 7+ regions worth of exp which makes way more sense for a 10 y/o kid to have under his belt to reach champion lvl(a lvl typically only adults reach).

When Spirit tomb used round, I lost my shit. Phenomenal video as always! As a big fan of gen IV I particularly enjoyed this one, especially the way you made every mon in Cynthia's team not only useful on their own but also synergize with multiple other mons on the team in unexpected ways. This is definitely the sort of content that got me to subscribe in the first place.

I remember playing Platinum before, and for some reason I tried to use Dawn's anime team (minus Quilava), complete with the same movesets. Needless to say facing Cynthia was brutal. There was a lot of loading save files, hoping for favorable rolls, and healing. And Garchomp is still her scariest Mon, though I remember killing it with my Buneary's Ice Beam lol.
