It feels like some of the characters are based on characters from Hajime no Ippo. For example speed star and Akutsu, where Speed Star is based on Saeki Takuma who also has the same nickname and Akutsu seems like a mix between Bryan Fury and Sawamura. Can't wait for next episode.

you have a seriously good talent for telling a story, like this is some tournament-arc anime-level type stuff right here I love how this episode barely even had the main character in it, let alone not as the main focus, you really developed new characters and antagonists very quickly and in such a way where the viewers actually care about and understand them the animation was slick too, love your style, punches+sounds were damn fine another thing you nailed is pacing, wasn't slow and wasn't fast, it told the story perfectly and I can't believe how much you animated in a single episode, thought it was 30 damn minutes, longer than a typical TV episode lots of planning put into this I can tell, you can't just wing this as you go lol, really like what it's building up to great work I legit cannot wait for the next episode also what in the what how did you get 126k subs so fast damn son

Amazing animation dude. Just a couple of things: Since the next fights are gonna be between the strongest (and so I assume most of them will not end in a 1st round ko) I'd suggest to make the boxers move around the ring, show some footwork. It'd also be nice to see some more of their styles, like idk some of them might prefer to dance around the opponent (good reference would be Muhammad Ali), others might like to get up close and grapple or maybe pressure the opponent and cornering them. Anyways, you're improving really quickly, episode after episode. Keep it up dude!

Good work man. The fight scenes for the most part actually look like fight scenes, rather than the loop fest that was episode 1. For the most part, the looping is used only where understandable, so it didnt feel like uou were stretching out the episode for no reason *as much* this time. Animation was pretty good to, considering the limitations of a boxing match fight. Not bad

So I’ve watched about 49 episodes of hajime no ippo and haeki is who kaido is based off of ;) don’t think I didn’t noticed. A lot of the moves and fighting style is similar. And Williams coach is based off of the old man. It’s crazy how much this is base off of that anime. Also that Akustu, I can see a relation to hawk.
