Good on Richard for opening up - you get a real sense of his character from this interview which is rare in racing coverage. He comes over as tightly-wound and stressed and it really reminds one just how difficult a trainer's life is. Hope it all carries on going well for the yard.

classic winning trainer in waiting with magnificent facilities and top jockey on retainer. ive made a polite request to richard about whether he'd consider starting a racing club / mini syndicate a la Harry Derham's £99 model for Nordic Tiger (which has been magnificent this season)...being a generous man let's hope richard thinks it could work for his stable too :) for all his followers who cant spare £50k to get involved in ownership or partnership but can see an Nvidia style growth coming around the corner in the form of big race wins!

@8:35 - This geezer rode with Pat Eddery/Lester Piggott who've most probably had magic in their hands when it came to Thoroughbreds, easily 1 and 2 in Horsemanship of any Era.. Hughes Must have da memory of a Goldfish...

make a mistakes costing the punter again and again and again . Unbelievable a punter can’t afford to make a mistake working for the bookies yet again

One thing Richard wouldn’t do is work for the bookies only jockey I have ever known to tell you anything that he really fancied a horse and it won’t get beat
