Champion splitter modification project isn’t going to be easy Peezy. But that won’t stop me. I always come through the other side.

John, this is a great build! I’m really enjoying this series. I think you’re right on keeping these “episodes” to about a 1/2 hour. It’s enough time to show progress and som changes in direction. Also, I enjoy you thinking out loud, I like the humor in your statements. Take care buddy and have a great day Around the Yard! ~ Brent

Building something like this will give you a real sense of pride while running the finished machine. There will be hurdles but metal can be moved and manipulated as needed along the way

@@WilleysFirewood I really appreciate you taking the time to stop in and watch my content, Russ that means a lot to me. I’ve been enjoying watching your videos on the new Allwood machines. Those are very nice pieces of equipment. Hope you stick around to see how things progress.

You know i was going to comment, saying you should build your own log lift. Duhh. Way ahead of me already. How you going to lift the lift. With the return stroke? Dude i looked at valve assembly’s are not cheap. Just the auto cycle valve body is 700. WTF.. and that’s for anyone who might wonder why you would take this project and not buy a machine with a log lift. Because a $2000 splitter can be a $14k machine after all the upgrades. Great job dude. Keep up the regular content posting.

I’m glad you’re enjoying the build Eric I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time. And it’s finally happening and this isn’t even the big project. You guys will all have to wait and see on that one.
