The Schuberth has COM equipment pre-installed. It obviously is a bit heavier out of the box, but will even that out when the other helmets have their coms installed.

Great video. Would have been interesting to see where the 'old' Tour X4 would have sat on this list. Especially now prices have dropped with the x5 being released.... Confused ref the Klim Krios Pro as your tests say it performs great in the noise tests but everyone seems to complain about how loud it is. Anyone in the comments have experience with the Krios Pro??

I love watching your video as they are so informative. Well done again. With this particular video I am shocked and amazed at the differences in ventilation between helmets. The results are either terrible or excellent. Are there no helmets in the market that offer a consistent 3 stars across the board? How do you pick your helmets? Following comments below Airoh, Nexx, and a couple others are not included.

About interior helmet temperature - do you find the colour of the helmet makes any detectable difference? For example have you tested matt black Vs bright white?

We wodnered this question about 2 years ago and tested, there is zeor difference. The color had no influence. We tried two C5 helmets (1 black and 1 one) on the exact same day, same route, same bike, same speed) no difference. Exactly the same results.

Maybe you can add "goggle friendliness" the ratings. Not every helmet is suited for big goggles or even goggles. Should be a part of the testing, cause many riders use them offroad.

Disappointed you didn't mention that some helmets are modular i.e. flip-up chin piece. That is a big difference in convenience and weight. You mentioned this for the Schuberth but not the ADX-9, for example. Modular helmets will always be heavier so it's not a fair comparison if you don't mention this.

It looks like you didn't open the chin vent of the Scorpion ADF900 for the ventilation test? could that have been why it did so poorly on the ventilation test? kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGG5oaFtgcp0l6M

No, we did open it. When leaving the store premise it was closed but turned open immediately after. Throughout the road test it was always open as you will be able to see in its individual road-test. @@incursore9 I am not worried about couple of gramms more, when you long rides, comfort,quietness and good ventilation are most important. Who cares if Klim Krios is lightest and it super noise and comfort is subpar. Arai Xd is ok but Schubert is most comfortable and longest lasting and only Schubert has all available parts in case of need repair or modification even for helmets that are 15-20years old.
