Yeah I would like to think he just saw what I was trying to do and I have a pretty good reputation I think? The people I filmed seemed to enjoy it and how stuff on the channel looks too. Aside from that, everyone at Upton was VERY nice to me. I had a great time there.

it always trips me out how in Regular boxing gyms they just let guys Wail on each other with little ass gloves on , most kickboxing gyms force everyone into 16oz for sparring especially when your going hard like this , you dont get better if you receive a concussion the day is shot . no matter waht ANYONE says if you get rocked that day was a waste everything you trained that day and a day prior is no longer retained and your brain is now in HEALING mode to recover from the concussion and cant hold onto the information you just stuffed into it through training .

My coach was a world champion in boxing and kick boxing, we would spar very hard only to the body, occasionally sparring to the head if someone had a fight coming up. But he had a long career due to adhering to this training philosophy.

Of course the weight matters, I'm surprised you say it doesn't matter, but it matters and if you do boxing ask your coach. I assure you that you wouldn't start a boxing match with someone who takes 10kg off you, even if he is worse than you, if he has some skills he would kick your ass. I don't know if there's a difference in this video, but if there is, the guy who I think is heavier is a great sparring partner for reducing his strength to that of his partner, I know he's a sparring partner, but I've seen a lot bad partners that hits with intentions of ripping heads off despite being heavier than his partners, so yes Work is Work if you have a good partner, but don't think that weight doesn't matter because the day you meet a guy heavier than you, even if he is worse than you and has skills if he doesn't reduce his power he will leave you to sleep. Logically, you have to spar hard but with people of the same weight
