My current favourite Djokovic and my tennis idol Pete...enjoyed the humble conversation these 2 had...nice anchoring by Tim..I remember the days when Pete was winning everything I literally wanted someone to beat him😀 what so admirable about Pete is that his dead calmness, complete concentration, his stamina and power, he was well ahead of his time kinda of player that too without much technology, advancement in nutrition at that time ....shocking he had to retire at age of 32 else he would have won 3 or 4 GS more. To say otherwise , if same Prime Pete plays now with so much advancement in sports he would have all the capability to dethrone Top 3 with his thunderbolt/accurate serve, Volley, lightening forehand, bullet backhand and his rock solid stamina . I can talk about Pete hours and hours that’s how much I dissected his game and now I love doing it for Novak. 2 amazing players who makes tennis interesting.

he turned that prostaff 85 into a loaded weapon... would be absolutely terrifying what he would do in his prime with newer racket technology and the advancements they've made in Strings..... @@olaraay slams don't show the truth. He was super dominant if you watched those years. People don't follow the sport I think. Novak defense and mental toughness is the strongest of all the current players the fact that never injured his ankles is amazing, when he's 100% he's unstoppable except for clay at the RG against Rafa..

He beat him this year in his home yard! Even before he was better than Rafa at clay... But his desire to beat him at RG burned him!!! Anyway, he's the only one who beat Rafa twice at RG! And Rome, Madrid, Monte Carlo. He's the most complete and dominant player ever!!! He rules tennis over a decade!!! Only when he was out, injured nearly two years,Roger ménage to scratch three more GS, otherwise he will stay with 17GS. He couldn't win o r GS over 5 years, from 2012, before Novak get injured. Novak come back,he stays with 0GS. Rafa few,Novak all the rest! He's the greatest tennis player who ever lived!!! ❣️🏆🎾👊🤡👏❤️🇷🇸🇷🇸🐐🐐🐐🐐

Pete, if he had match point on his serve, he wouldn't do a 40-15 choke, Federer must feel cringy, and having nightmares, over Wimbledon 2019, Pete would have sent once ace down, and done the story!

@@pauljohnson6019 Depends on the equipment. With the pre-modern rackets they were using in the 80s/90s? Definitely Sampras, since the aggressive baseline game is just not possible. With modern rackets? 110% Djokovic. He's dealt with tougher servers.

@Penelope only 1 person infected? Um, no, you’re wrong! As for the rest, well promoting pseudoscience is just ridiculous when you’re supposed to be a role model and world class athlete, it’s just embarrassing to the sport when he spouts his pseudoscience nonsense, and actually if you look at the replay he knew exactly where the ball was going when he hit the line judge because he was looking that way, however intent or not he intended to smack the ball and he did so earlier in that match too because he couldn’t control his temper! You Novax glory supporters are ridiculous, defending the indefensible!!!

Lifetime records -> consecutive records! Why?! Because former reward longevity, which combines many factors including opposition/competition (Sampras didn’t have Nadal/Federer level threats, so he didn’t have to worry! Lol And Agassi didn’t care for the rankings until much later in his career so…)

It is funny because I always dislike Agassi so much mostly because of his attitude but when he finished his tennis career and I watched his classic matches with Sampras Safin Becker Federer Kafelnikov and others and I just realized how good he really was...His game was simply flawless when he was in his zoom..When I look at the new generation of the players with big serve and waiting for return ball 20 feets behind baseline I wish he was back to give some lessons to the youngsters.
@rmmm86664 жыл бұрын
@@narcyznarcyz-uv4td Agassi was a guy who wore his heart on his sleeve, always showing whatever emotions he was feeling. That made him genuine, but generally less popular than Sampras due to how Sampras conducted himself throughout their career. Both are legends.

@@narcyznarcyz-uv4td I feel like Agassi’s game would translate so well to the modern day. He was probably the 3rd best baseline player of all time behind only Nadal and Djokovic and just barely in front of Federer. I disagree with you on the “these kids need to stop standing 20 feet behind the baseline” though. It doesn’t work for everyone, but for very strong players like Thiem Nadal or Wawrinka it’s an incredibly effective strategy. They just get to hit the ball so hard off the return. Fun fact: Nadal is statistically the 2nd best of all time at breaking serve, ahead of Djokovic, Murray and Agassi.
